Our Stylist of the Month program gives fans like you the chance to nominate your favorite Hair Cuttery stylists for their outstanding skills! The votes are in, and this month’s Stylist of the Month is James B. from the Indian River Square salon in Vero Beach, FL! We sat down with James to find out a little more about his style and what it’s like working at Hair Cuttery.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy soaking up the Florida sun, relaxing at the beach or hanging out by the pool with friends.
What made you decide to become a hair stylist?
My mother was a hair stylist, so it was something I grew up around and just came naturally to me.
How do you keep up with the latest style trends?
I try to keep up with the latest styles through magazines, TV and movies. YouTube is also a great way of learning new things from other stylists, as well as the classes Hair Cuttery offers.
How would you describe your personal style?
I would say my personal style is somewhat trendy, classic and professional – nothing wild, crazy or off the wall, just basically your average guy next door look.
What do you enjoy most about working for Hair Cuttery?
What I enjoy most about Hair Cuttery is the amazing stylists I work with. They are a fun and talented group of people, and we really learn a lot from each other.
What tools and products do you enjoy working with the most?
Some of my favorite products to use are Redken Rewind 06 Styling Paste and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. CIBU Ancient Veil Argan Oil Mist is great for Florida’s hot, humid weather.
